About Digi Book Studio

About Digi Book Studio

In 2013, the self-publishing industry was already growing fast. Authors had more options than ever before. They also had more ways to get burned. Fragmented vendors, hidden fees, rights grabs buried in contracts, and marketing promises that delivered nothing. The tools to self-publish existed. A trustworthy system to do it well did not.

Digi Book Studio was founded to fix that.

We built a publishing service company around a simple idea: authors deserve a process that is transparent, accountable, and built around their book β€” not around extracting maximum revenue from their confusion. Every decision we have made since 2013, from how we price our services to how we structure our contracts to how we assign editors and designers, has been made with that idea at the center.

What We Do

We provide end-to-end publishing services for authors at every stage of the process. Editing, cover design, interior formatting, print publishing, eBook publishing, audiobook production, distribution, and marketing, all of it handled in-house by our own team, under one roof, with one point of contact assigned to every project.

We do not outsource production to contractors we cannot supervise. We do not bundle services without telling you what each one costs. We do not lock you into exclusivity agreements or take a percentage of your royalties. We charge for the services we provide, we deliver them to a standard we are willing to put our name on, and we hand your finished book back to you with full ownership intact.

Since 2013, we have helped over 3,000 authors move from manuscript to published book. Those authors have published fiction, nonfiction, memoir, children’s books, poetry, business titles, self-help, academic works, and illustrated books across every major genre. Their books are available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple Books, Kobo, IngramSpark, and 20+ additional retail and library platforms worldwide.

Our Mission

To give every author a transparent, risk-free path to professional publication.

That mission shapes every policy we have. It is why our pricing is itemized and published. It is why revisions are included in our quoted prices rather than charged as extras. It is why every ISBN we register is in the author’s name, not ours. It is why your retail accounts belong to you, your rights stay with you, and your royalties go to you.

Publishing should not be a process authors are afraid of. It should be one they are confident in. We exist to make that confidence possible.

Our Story

When we started in 2013, we worked with a small number of authors on a referral basis. The work was the same then as it is now, editing, design, formatting, and getting books onto retail platforms correctly. What changed over the years was scale.

As the self-publishing market grew, so did the number of companies trying to profit from authors who did not know enough to protect themselves. We watched competitors inflate prices with hidden fees, lock authors into unfavorable contracts, and deliver work that did not meet professional publishing standards. We watched authors come to us after losing thousands of dollars to companies that overpromised and underdelivered.

Those experiences shaped how we built our service model. Every policy we have, on pricing, on rights, on revisions, on contracts, exists because we saw what happened to authors when a policy like that did not exist.

We are not the cheapest option in the self-publishing industry. We are not trying to be. We are trying to be the most trustworthy one. Over 500 five-star reviews from authors who have worked with us suggest we are doing that correctly.

Our Team

Every author who works with Digi Book Studio is assigned a Publishing Specialist. This is your point of contact from your first consultation through your launch day. Your Publishing Specialist coordinates your editorial team, your design team, your formatting and distribution workflow, and your marketing services if you choose them.

You are not handed off between departments. You are not left waiting for a response from a support ticket queue. You have one person who knows your project, knows your timeline, and is accountable to you.

Behind your Publishing Specialist is a team of in-house editors, designers, formatters, audio engineers, and marketing specialists. Each one works within their area of expertise on books in the genres and formats they know best. A thriller manuscript goes to an editor who edits thrillers. A children’s book goes to a designer who designs children’s books.

This is how professional publishing houses operate. It is also how we operate.

Our Locations

Digi Book Studio operates across multiple locations in the United States. Our primary operations are based in Pennsauken, New Jersey, with additional offices serving authors in Texas and the surrounding region.

Headquarters: 3700 Maple Shade Lane, Pennsauken, NJ

Additional Offices: Plano, TX | Dallas, TX | Houston, TX

Authors across the United States and internationally work with us remotely. Every stage of the publishing process, consultation, manuscript submission, editorial review, design approval, and distribution, is handled digitally. You do not need to be near one of our offices to work with us.

A Note on Our Reviews

We have over 500 five-star reviews from authors who have published with us. We are proud of those reviews. We are also aware that reviews can be fabricated, inflated, or selectively displayed.

We do not fabricate reviews. We do not pay for reviews. We do not selectively remove negative feedback to maintain a false average. Our reviews are collected from authors who have completed publishing projects with us and submitted their feedback voluntarily.

If you want to verify our reputation independently, search for Digi Book Studio on Google, Trustpilot, and the Better Business Bureau. Read the reviews on those platforms, including any negative ones. Form your own assessment based on what authors who have worked with us have said in environments we do not control.

We would rather earn your trust through transparency than try to manufacture it through a curated testimonial page.

Why Authors Choose Us Over the Competition

We are frequently compared to Hemingway Publishers, Aspire Book Publishing, and other self-publishing service companies. The comparison is fair. Authors should evaluate their options before committing.

Here is what distinguishes us in that comparison:

In-house production. Every service we offer is performed by our own team. No third-party contractors. No coordination gaps between vendors who do not communicate with each other.

Transparent pricing. Our pricing is itemized, published, and final. The price you receive in your quote is the price you pay. Revisions are included. File conversions are included. Distribution setup is included.

Author ownership. Your ISBN is in your name. Your retail accounts belong to you. Your rights stay with you. Your royalties go directly to you from retail platforms.

Dedicated point of contact. One Publishing Specialist manages your project from start to finish. You know who is responsible for your book at every stage.

No exit penalties. You can take full control of your book and your accounts at any time. There are no termination fees, no minimum contract terms beyond the scope of your current project, and no exclusivity requirements.

A track record since 2013. Over a decade of in-house production, over 3,000 authors published, and over 500 verified reviews from real authors.

Talk to Us

If you are evaluating self-publishing companies and want to ask us direct questions about our process, our pricing, or our contracts before you commit to anything, we welcome that conversation.

We would rather spend 30 minutes answering your questions honestly and lose the project to a competitor who is a better fit than take on a project that is not right for you. That approach has not hurt our business. It has built it.
