There is something a digital file cannot replace. A printed book in your hands. Your name on the spine. Pages that turn. A cover with weight and texture.
Print is not a backup format for authors who can’t figure out digital. It is a product. It is what you sign at events, sell from your website, pitch to bookstores, and hand to the people whose opinion matters most to you. For many authors, the printed book is the goal everything else supports.
At Digi Book Studio, we print books in the USA with no hidden fees, no minimum order requirements beyond what print-on-demand allows, and a file review process that catches problems before they become expensive reprints.

Your book is not just a reading experience. It is a physical object that carries your name into the world. It sits on a shelf. It gets passed between people. It shows up in the background of someone’s Instagram photo. It gets left in a waiting room and picked up by a stranger.
A printed book with a cover that commands attention, paper that feels right in the hand, and an interior that reads like a traditionally published title does more for your credibility as an author than almost anything else you can invest in.
Authors who treat print as an afterthought, uploading a Word document and accepting default settings, end up with books that feel self-published in the worst sense of that word. Authors who invest in print production end up with books that compete on any shelf, in any store, next to any traditionally published title.
We have been helping authors produce print books that meet that standard since 2013.

Every book we print is built to your specifications. Here is what you control.
Paperback (Perfect Bound) The standard binding for trade fiction and nonfiction. Pages are gathered, glued at the spine, and trimmed to size. This is the format readers expect when they pick up a novel or a business book. Paperback binding is available for books of 24 pages or more.
Hardcover (Case Bound) Pages are sewn or glued into a rigid case. Hardcover books carry more perceived value, command higher retail prices, and hold up better to repeated handling. Available with dust jacket or printed case cover options.
Spiral Bound Pages are bound with a coil that allows the book to lay flat when open. The right choice for workbooks, planners, cookbooks, and instructional manuals where readers need both hands free while using the book.
Saddle Stitch Pages are folded and stapled at the spine. Used for shorter publications, booklets, chapbooks, short children’s books, and promotional materials. Available for publications up to 64 pages.
The paper inside your book affects how it reads and how it feels. We offer multiple options based on your book’s content and your production goals.
Cream (Off-White) Interior Paper The standard for fiction. Cream paper reduces eye strain during long reading sessions and gives printed text a warmer appearance. Available in 50lb and 60lb weights.
White Interior Paper The standard for nonfiction, business books, and any title with photographs, charts, or illustrations. White paper produces sharper image reproduction and higher contrast for technical content. Available in 60lb and 80lb weights.
Premium Matte Cover Stock A soft, non-reflective finish that gives your cover a tactile quality readers notice. Premium matte stock photographs well and holds color without the glare of glossy finishes.
Glossy Cover Stock High-shine finish that makes colors and images pop. Standard for children’s books, cookbooks, and titles where cover imagery is the primary visual element.
Linen Cover Stock A textured finish that communicates quality. Used for hardcover titles where the cover material itself is part of the product’s identity. Linen stock is available for case-bound hardcovers without a dust jacket.

Print on demand means your book is printed when an order is placed. You do not pay for inventory upfront. You do not store boxes of books in your garage. You do not risk printing 500 copies of a first edition before you know how the market responds.
When a reader orders your book, from Amazon, from your website, from our bookshop, it is printed and shipped directly. You pay the printing cost per unit. The remainder of the sale price is your royalty.
Print on demand is the right starting point for most authors. It removes financial risk, keeps your book permanently in print, and allows you to update your interior or cover without writing off existing inventory.
For authors who need bulk copies, for events, speaking engagements, classroom use, or direct sales at scale, we offer short-run and offset printing at volume pricing. Contact us for bulk order pricing based on your specifications.

Every file submitted for printing goes through a review by our production team before a single page is printed. We check for bleed settings, margin safety, embedded fonts, image resolution, spine width accuracy, and PDF export settings.
This step exists because printing errors are expensive. A cover with text too close to the trim edge gets cut off in binding. An interior with fonts that are not embedded displays incorrectly on press. An image at 72 DPI that looks fine on screen prints as a blurry block on paper.
We catch these problems before they cost you money. If we find an issue, we contact you with a specific correction request before the job goes to press.
