Frequently Asked Questions About Getting Started

Within one business day by email. Same day if you call during business hours.

No. We work with authors at every stage. If your manuscript is still in progress, we can give you a range estimate based on your expected word count and the services you anticipate needing. A firm quote requires a complete manuscript for editing services, but design and distribution quotes can be prepared from your manuscript specifications alone.

Yes. There is no charge for an initial consultation and no obligation to proceed after it. We use the consultation to understand your project and give you a clear picture of what it will cost and how long it will take. The decision to proceed is entirely yours.

A Publishing Specialist will review your inquiry and reach out to schedule a consultation call. The call typically runs 20 to 30 minutes. We ask about your manuscript, your publishing goals, your timeline, and your budget. We recommend a service path based on what we hear. You receive a written quote after the call.
